Lazy Days

Last Thursday and Friday we were lucky enough to have 2 snow days at school. Pretty exciting stuff.

...except when teachers figure out they can give you assignments on Blackboard due during regular class time. Rude.

I did that most of Thursday and did nothing the rest of the weekend, but managed to watch an insane amount of Disney movies. We watched Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, Lion King and Prince of Egypt - among others. And all in one day. Impressive.

I'm only 7 little days from driving again. Pretty exciting news. This 6 months has been tough, but encouraging at the same time. I guess God takes situations like mine and teaches people like me to rely on others instead of doing it all yourself. Definitely a lesson I needed to learn.

My friends and family have been great. Especially Taylor. Our relationship is probably the best its ever been because I'm not over thinking things as much. I'm sure he's as thankful for that as I am.

Oh and this title of this entry comes from a song my dad used to sing to me in the bathtub. Sometimes it will just pop into my head. He's such a nice dad.

Here's a link to the song if you would like to enjoy it personally.

This was drawn on my car when I saw it yesterday. Thank you to who drew it, whoever you are.
